Oh, God, what an invitation to a nightmare. Salespeople think they know programming already. That'll only encourage more terrible proposals for endorsements and stuff like that. Maybe the PD can talk to them, but including them in a programming meeting seems like a bad thing.

Suits and ties don't mean someone's not cool and forward-thinking. But radio guys aren't cool and forward-thinking anyway, no matter what they wear. Even the young ones aren't cool, unless dressing and acting like douchebags has gotten cool now.

You can do that where the main population's pretty concentrated. If a market has a lot of suburbs or just sprawls over a large area, a translator won't cut it. But in a place like Columbus, a translator, if it's high enough, will do the trick. Not a bad move.
