Neil Young will receive the honor of being the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year this January 29th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Several of rock's biggest names will be in house to celebrate his historic career, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Wilco and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
The event will recognize both the music of Young as well as his decorated past as a philanthropist, honoring his achievements with Farm Aid and the Bridge School benefit concerts.
We are going to be running a great promotion for this and I think its gonna be an awesome event!!
